CORPORATE SOURCING LEADER
NORRISTOWN, PA
Waco Filters Corp, A national industrial filter distributor with branches from coast to coast has an opening for a Corporate Sourcing Leader to join our purchasing team in Norristown, PA.
Responsibilities would include:
- Support the implementation of purchasing strategies aiming for the lowest prices for all materials and services by focusing on effective negotiations.
- Drive cost reduction/productivity programs consistent with the objectives set.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ensure optimum supplier performance through a formal supplier performance evaluation process.
- Inventory Control
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Purchasing/Sourcing Roll
- Documented success in negotiating and supplier management
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Background in Inventory Control a plus
- Personal computer skills required are: Excel and Word
